There are people who will always have a special place in your heart. It doesn’t even matter how far away they live or how long it has been since they left Earth – these people will always be a part of you and who you are.

Naturally, you will want to feel close to them on your wedding day – especially considering what an important day this is in your life. But what are some of the best ways to do this? How to include your loved ones in the wedding? Here are some tips to keep in mind:

Family heirlooms. If your grandmother has left you some beautiful family heirlooms – such as a pair of earrings or a brooch – you can wear them on your wedding day. Do not be afraid to get creative with this! For example, you can incorporate your heirloom brooch in your bridal bouquet for a sentimental and truly stylish look.

Ties and patches. Your father’s or your grandfather’s old shirts and ties can also be incorporated in your wedding look. For instance, you can use his tie as a wrap for your bouquet, or you can cut out a small patch of his favorite shirt and use it to create a beautiful patch for your wedding gown.

Wedding rings. If your lost loved one left behind a wedding ring, this is a wonderful way to honor him/her and the great commitment he/she has made for the one he/she loved. Wear his/her wedding ring as a bracelet or as a pendant as you walk down the aisle and it will surely make you feel much closer to this special person!
